Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and School, Tucson

Faith Lutheran began in 1949 as a church member of the English District-The Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod and still functions as such today. The first Sunday School classes were held just three short months later. Faith Lutheran began holding Kindergarten classes in October of 1952, and by September of 1953 first and second grades were also taught. Over the next few years additions were made and by 1957 Faith Lutheran School consisted of grades Kindergarten through eighth. In the 1990s, full time preschool/daycare classes were added. Today, Faith Lutheran Church and School continues to hold regular services, bible studies, Sunday School, Preschool and Day School grades K-6. Faith Lutheran provides a Christian summer enrichment program and extended day care for the school.
